Abstract Algebra
Interim Project Report:
14 December, 1999
We have written two projects (which I used this semester in my abstract algebra course) and we plan to write two more over Christmas break.
Project 1 - An introduction to GAP (already written and tested in my class this fall)
Project 2 - Exploring Rubik's Cube with GAP (again, written and tested this fall)
Project 3 - The "15-Puzzle" and the Alternating Group (not written yet)
Project 4 - TBD (Probably a project covering a topic covered in the second semester of Abstract Algebra)
