Collaborative Use of Digital Video to Enhance Learning: A Joint ACS-GLCA workshop
Open to all interested faculty and technology staff at Great Lakes Colleges Association and Associated Colleges of the South member colleges
Workshop Facilitator: Dick House, Instructional Technologist/Modern Languages Specialist, Wabash College
Where: ACS Technology Center, Southwestern University, Georgetown TX
The four day workshop will focus on the following areas:
· What are the viable uses for digital video in the classroom?
· How can participants continue to communicate and share results of both the workshop and future projects done on home campuses?
· What avenues are available for group and individual funding of future projects?

June 13-17:
"Physlets: Teaching Physics with Interactive Curricular Material" led by Mario Belloni and Wolfgang Christian (Davidson College)
June 28-July 3:
"Web Site Development with Macromedia Tools and Javascript" led by Jim Purser (Millsaps College) and Kevin Treu (Furman University)
July 11-15:
"Providing Technical Support at a Small Liberal Arts Institution" led by Pat Ramsey (Southwestern University)
July 18-22:
"Providing Web Access to Databases" led by Tom Whaley (Washington and Lee University)
July 26-30:
"Effective Use of Technology in the Music Curriculum: Part II" led by Patricia Gray (Rhodes College)

Travel may be subsidized through the applicant's faculty development office, or Chief Academic Officer, or department head.
